This dentist is obviously one of a kind! I'm an over the road truck driver. I called 23 dentist's and none of them would help me. So i decided to just show up. I went to 2 of them and was turned away. So my last option was catawba valley dental and they accepted me wide open arms. Never once showed me anything except for respect and care! I was there for 1 and half hours which i would call in and out. Got my tooth that was killing me pulled and now i just got the best night sleep ever! This trucker Thanks you very much!!!!

Dr. Jace Yeoman is an amazing dentist in Hickory, North Carolina! He’s kind, professional, and takes time to explain everything so you feel comfortable. He truly cares about his patients and makes the whole experience stress-free. He’s also a Spanish-speaking dentist in Hickory, which is a huge plus if you or your family need care in Spanish. If you’re looking for a Spanish dentist in North Carolina, Dr. Yeoman is the one to see. Highly recommend!

I've gone to the Doctor Pate for years. I've always gotten courteous and professional service both in my dental hygiene care as well as all of my dental service needs. I highly recommend Catawba Valley Dental for anyone in need of dental care. Update: I had a dental appointment here yesterday for a routine exam and cleaning. Once again I was greatly appreciative of all the friendly staff including my dental hygienist, Janice who for more years than I like to count has kept my teeth clean and looking as good as they can look considering they're in my mouth! 😁 Lol! Dr. Pate is the best and I highly recommend this dental service if you in need of one. 🪥🦷
I love Dr. Pate and his team!! From the greeting from the front office staff to walking out the door is welcoming. My dental hygienist is not only thorough but she explains what she is doing and takes time outs if I need one. Dr. Pate is friendly and has a calming demeanor so you don't get the dentist-phobia. Love the whole crew!!
We have been with Dr. Pate since he graduated dental school & started practicing. Never once have we thought of switching dentists. He & his staff are personable, professional & the absolute best.

Best dentist I’ve ever had
I've had an irrational fear of dentists since I was 12. I've been going to Dr. Pate for over 5 years. They have successfully helped me, if not overcome my phobia, at least be able to complete several complicated, often painful procedures. If you want compassionate people who try and see you through your fear as you get your teeth done, this is the place. Kindness and politeness seem to be ingrained in their practice. Highly recommend.
Dr. Pate and staff are fantastic. I needed a cracked crown replaced and they worked diligently to remove the old and reshape the tooth for a new and better fit. Temporary is now out and new crown is in. Perfect fit, like a glove! Thank you Dr. Pate! 3/28/24 Found that I need a root canal. Scheduled with Dr. Pate and success! Drilled into tooth and cleaned out, sealed shut and resurfaced after taking an antibiotic regiment. Everything good now. Thank you Dr. Pate! 9/19/24 Scheduled cleaning today. On time without much of a wait. Great attention to detail in cleaning stains and tarter. Polished with cinnamon, leaving a great refreshing feeling in my mouth. Plus no cavities! 4/21/25 Dr. Pate helped tremendously with replacement of very old crowns that litterly shattered in my gums! He and his assistant cleaned them out, removed all the old and checked my original teeth. Made molds and installed temporaries several weeks ago. Today my new crowns were fitted and they are wonderful. Fit is very good. Now back to eating anything! Thank you Dr. Pate and staff!

I had a tooth to start really hurting me on a Thursday around 1:00. I waited thinking it would go away as quickly as it came but it just kept getting worse. I called the office at 4:45 that day and the sweet lady told me to be there at 8:45 the next morning! I saw his Hygienist first who was extremely personable and thorough. Dr. Pate did a thorough exam and reassured me of what the issue was. I can not sing enough praises about this office from front office administration , to the hygienists to Dr Pate. This office is great!!!!
Today, I had my initial consultation with Dr. Pate. While dental visits are not always enjoyable, today’s appointment was necessary due to a fractured tooth requiring a crown. Dr. Pate provided a comprehensive explanation of the necessary procedures, presented me with various options, and recommended the most suitable course of action based on my individual needs. He effectively communicated the potential risks and benefits of each procedure, refraining from promoting more expensive options. His approach was highly professional and personable, instilling a strong sense of trust in his judgment. Additionally, the office staff’s friendliness and understanding regarding financial considerations made me feel at ease. I am immensely grateful for finding this dental office and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking a new dental professional.
We moved to North Carolina about 4 years ago and when you move you always wonder if you’re going to find a good doctors. Catawba Valley Dental provided a great office filled with professionals from the front desk, to my hygienist Regina and dentist Dr. Pate! Teeth care is always gentle, thorough and top notch. I highly recommend!

I’ve only been to Catawba Valley Dental 3 times and I’m upset that I haven’t been coming all along. My dental hygienist is gentle but very thorough. I leave feeling confident that my teeth have been cared for. Dr Pate is professional and thorough. His office doesn’t try to sell me unnecessary treatments. I highly recommend this dental practice!!

Dr Pate is a professional from the very start. His career has been built on his ability to show his patient's they are valued by demonstrating excellent service and mastered workmanship. My insurance is not in his coverage, but I feel he is whom I want to take care of my teeth. He is the BEST! I am willing to take on the extra fees not covered by insurance, because I know the service will be done correctly the first time!
Dr. Pate and his staff are absolutely wonderful! They are extremely kind and compassionate about what they do. My husband and I have been going to him for over 10 years now. We couldn't imagine seeing anyone else except him. Dr. Pate has always been honest with me when it came down to the best option for my dental care. He does excellent work, and I trust him. I have referred several friends to him as well. I highly recommend him.

Just had my first experience at Catawba Valley Dental and I have to say it was pleasant because from the reception back to the exam room everyone was very friendly; even the waiting room had a warm homey feel to it and Dr. Pate was thorough, informative and friendly as well.
